What we keep

• The video you upload, and what the program works out from it: where the ball went, who hit it, shot types, swing measurements, statistics.
• The names you type for the four players, and the levels if you give them. We do not use face recognition; the program tells players apart by clothes and body outline.
• Your account (user name, password stored scrambled, never readable) and a record of the consent you gave when you uploaded.

What we do with it

• Show you the results, and only you.
• Study the footage to improve the analysis software (for example, so it works for players of every level).
• We do not sell it, publish it or show it to other users. We do not post it anywhere.

Your control

• You can delete any match at any time from its page (the video, the analysis and the pictures are removed for good), or delete your whole account from your Profile page.
• You can ask pickleballsavants@gmail.com to remove everything of yours, and it will be done.
• Everyone in the video must be an adult who has agreed. If one of them changes their mind, tell pickleballsavants@gmail.com and the match will be removed.

How it is protected

• Only people with an invite can sign up; everyone only sees their own matches.
• The connection is encrypted (https) when the site is reached from outside, and the files sit on one computer that is not shared.
• Repeated wrong passwords lock sign-in for a while, and uploads are checked before they are used.
• No system is perfectly safe. Please do not upload anything you would not be comfortable with the person running this seeing.
